Introduction
The purpose of writing Women Spirit Astrology is to write a astrology book for
women that blends spirituality with psychological and is useful practically,
bringing positive, strong affirming messages that can be useful in a woman's
everyday life.
My approach to astrology is both practical and spiritual. The information I
will be giving you in this book can be used in your daily life for your spiritual
and psychological growth. The IMAGES for each of the SIGNS of the zodiac can
be meditated on or expressed in a creative project. The affirmation for each
of the signs and the planets can also be used in meditation, but they are best
spoken out loud. I have found that using the AFFIRMATION and IMAGES of your
Sun, Moon, Rising Sign, and also a sign you do not feel comfortable with can
deepen your understanding of the Signs and Planets in your chart.
In the section on the Planets for each of the signs you will find the Astrological
walks. After each planet there will be an astrological house with a meditation
exercise that will give you the opportunity to more deeply understand and experience
each of the houses. The Astrological walks and guided visualization are from
a branch of astrology called experiential astrology. It explores using the right
side of the brain by giving one the opportunity to have a direct experience
of the signs, planet and houses in our astrological charts through our feelings,
senses and intuitions. To use astrology wisely I will leave you with these words
to ponder. Astrology is like a mirror reflecting the possibilities and potential
that is within us. It can be used as a guide in the enfoldment of our potentials
and life's purpose. Astrology helps us to be more aware of the interconnections
of our lives. We need to remember that astrology can provide the map and be
a guide but in the end we are responsible for which roads we choose to travel
in our lives.
